Additional information

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates. Key study: Method according to OECD 202. GLP study. The 48h-EC50 of the test item in Daphnia magna was found to be 29.93 mg/L (measured, geom. mean), the NOEC = 12.76 mg/L, and the LOEC = 18.50 mg/L, based on mobility.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria. Key study. Method according to OECD 201. GLP study. The 72h-EC50 in green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was found to be 7.51 mg/L (measured, geometric mean), and the EC10 was 1.97 mg/L (measured, geometric mean), based on growth rate.

Conclusion on classification

Based on available data (48h-EC50 in daphnids = 29.93 mg/L, 72h-EC50 in algae = 7.51 mg/L, 72h-EC10 in algae = 1.97 mg/L) and since the substance is readily biodegradable, with a Log Kow < 4, the test item is not classified for aquatic toxicity, according to CLP regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
