Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Biotic or abiotic degradation by hydrolysis are no relevant environmental pathways for the substance based on the available screening tests and the molecular structure of the substance.

The experimentally determined log Koc value (log Koc > 3.5) indicates a potential for adsorption to suspended soil and sediment particles. The substance is characterised by a high water solubility > 500 g/L. Based on the water solubility and adsorption potential a distribution to water and sediment is expected if the substance is released to the environment. The substance is not volatile (VP: 0.00168 Pa at 20 °C); evaporation and transport via the atmosphere to other environmental compartments is not likely. Bioaccumulation in aquatic or sediment organisms is not expected due to the low calculated log Pow range of -3.93 to -3.36.
