Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Suga Nate 160 can exist as waxy solid , but the melting point of the isolated material have not been determinated accurately. It is envisaged that the 100%  product will melt somewhere in the region of 250 ªC

The attempt to use DSC to easure the melting point of this substance was not possible. The trace did not show any indication of melting point during the test which scanned from 180 - 280 deg C. The sample supplied was a ropy liquidy solid.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
250 °C

Additional information

The freezing point of the 40% solution as sold arround -5ºC.
