Any other information on results incl. tables

The Koc value for FBSEE diol was calculated using equation from European Chemicals Bureau: Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment, Chapter 4, Table 4, page 26.

Predominantly hydrophobics: Log Koc (unitless) = 0.81 logKow + 0.10

Experimental log Kow of FBSEE Diol = 2.7 at 22 °C;

Log Koc (unitless) = 0.81 x (2.7) + 0.10 = 2.3;

Koc (unitless) = 200

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The calculated Koc for FBSEE diol is 200 (unitless) using the Technical Guidance equation.
Executive summary:

Soil-water partition coefficient (Koc and log Koc ) can be calculated using the equation from European Chemicals Bureau: Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment, Chapter 4, Table 4, page 26: for predominantly hydrophobics: Log Koc (unitless) = 0.81 logKow + 0.10, FBSEE diol has an experimental log Kow of 2.7 at 22 °C. Based on the equation, the calculated log Koc (unitless) was 2.3, the Koc was 200 (unitless).
