- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Unsuitable extinguishing media are not known.

Hazardous combustion products: In case of fire, the substance may decompose with the emission of fumes harmful to health as COx.

Technical protection recommendations: Do not attempt to extinguish the fire without using a device autonomous respiratory tract (SCBA) and adequate protective clothing.

- Special Protection Devices for fire extinguishers: Wear boots, gloves, overalls, eye and face protection, suitable respirators. comply with the relevant UNI standards for Italy and EN for Europe.

Use the devices indicated in the maximum precautionary conditions based on the information reported in the previous subsections.

Accidental release measures

- Eyes: Wear suitable protective equipment (see section 8)

- Leather: Wear clothing with full body protection.

- Airways: In the event of fire and / or explosion, avoid breathing fumes and vapors. Use a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing. The vapors they can be eliminated by spraying with water.

In case of accidental release or spillage, avoid that the substance reaches the drains and can reach water surface or underground. Notify Competent Authorities in case of environmental pollution. Containment modality: Collect all the material scattered on the ground with protective equipment

adequate and place it in a clean and dry container.

- Method of remediation: Recover the substance by aspiration or other mechanical means and wash the area with plenty of water and detergents. - Hand protection: Chemical resistant gloves according to EN 374, parts 1, 2 and 3 e the Community directive 89/89 / EEC. The glove material must be waterproof and stable against the product / substance / formulation. Material: nitrile (nitrile rubber), hypoallergenic Thickness: not less than 0.12 mm

- Other, body protection Choose the appropriate protective medium according to activity and exposure, for es. apron, boots, suitable clothing according to EN 13982 in case of powders.

c) Respiratory protection: If the risk assessment foresees the need for respirators and assisted ventilation, use a dust filter type P1, P2 and P3 (EN 143). Use respirators and components tested and approved by competent standardization bodies such as NIOSH (USA) and CEN (EU).

In the short and minimum exposures use the mask; in exhibitions more intense and lasting wear the self-contained breathing apparatus

d) Thermal hazards: Not foreseen in standard use practices of the substance. Evaluate any personal protective equipment based on particular conditions of use of the same

The substance is not considered reactive under normal conditions of use.

The substance is stable under normal temperature and pressure conditions and if stored in closed containers in a cool, ventilated place.

Avoid exposure to light, air, moisture and excessive heat.

Incompatible materials: Oxidizing agents.

It decomposes for heating at high temperatures, releasing fumes and toxic COx gases.

Disposal considerations

Disposal through wastewater is not recommended.

Refer to the community / national / local provisions on waste disposal.
