Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data on the acute toxicity of TMAEE (CAS 93240-93-8) to aquatic invertebrates are available. Therefore, the assessment of the toxicity of the target substance to aquatic invertebrates was based on the available read-across data for BDMAEE (CAS 3033-62-3). The effects of the source substance toDaphnia magna(STRAUS) were investigated in a study according to OECD 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test). The obtained 48-h EC50 value was 102 mg/L based on measured test concentrations.

Based on the available experimental data for the source substance BDMAEE (CAS 3033-62-3), TMAEE (CAS 93240-93-8) is concluded to be with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms.
