Additional information

Experimental data are available on the biodegradation potential of 2-[2-(dimethylamino)ethoxy]-N-methylethanamine (TMAEE; CAS 93240-93-8). In a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 301B (Ready Biodegradability: CO2 Evolution Test), degradation of the substance was reported to be 0% after 28 days based on CO2 evolution (BASF SE 2020, report no.: 22G0034/19G052). Domestic activated sludge was used as inoculum. The criteria for ready biodegradability were not reached.

It can be concluded, that TMAEE (CAS 93240-93-8) is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
