Description of key information
Testing was considered not necessary as alternatives to testing were available and they demonstrated to be sufficient to fulfil the legal requirements related to Annex VII, Section 9.1.1 of REACH. Therefore, the general rules for adaptation 1.2 of Annex XI of REACH regulation are met and applied. The results obtained from the three publications available from were in the EC50 range 410 -216 mg/l. the EC50 of 216 mg/l has been chosen as key for the CSA.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- EC50 for freshwater algae:
- 216 mg/L
