Persistent (P)
The results of an OECD 301B ready biodegradability study showed no biologically relevant biodegradation of epoxypropyl neodecanoate, oligomeric reaction products with cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylic anhydride and propylidenetrimethanol. As such, it is considered that the substance is potentially persistent (P/vP).
Bioaccumulative (B/vB)
Epoxypropyl neodecanoate, oligomeric reaction products with cyclohexane-1,2 -dicarboxylic anhydride and propylidenetrimethanol is not considered to be potentially bioaccumulative (i.e. not B or vB) on the basis that the high molecular weight of the substance of 1281.67 would suggest that the substance is too large to pass biological membranes to cause bioaccumulation.
Toxic (T)
The available ecotoxicology data are not considered sufficient to conclude whether the substance meets the criteria to be considered toxic (T) under PBT (given the constraints associated with the water solubility of the substance).
