Heating rate of 10 deg C/min from 25 deg C to 400 deg C was used for the preliminary test.

An endothermic heat effect, the boiling, was detected at 268.7 deg C. After the experiment, the sample had lost 99.3% of its mass and a black shiny residue remained. In order to determine the boiling point more precisely, further DSC-runs were recorded between 150 deg C and 300 deg C with a heating rate of 10 deg C/min. During these runs, the boiling point was determined to be 266.4 deg C and 266.2 deg C. The sample lost 95% and 96% of its mass, respectively. In conclusion, the boiling point of TIC876 (T002675) was determined to be 266.3 deg C ± 0.1 degC which is equal to 539.5 K ± 0.1 K. The atmospheric pressure during the measurements was 99.1 kPa (preliminary test) and 99.4 kPa (main tests).

Conclusions:
The boiling point of the test substance was found to be 266.3 ± 0.1 °C, or 539.3 ± 0.1 K.
