Key result
Remarks on result:
no self-ignition observed up to the melting point
Remarks:
no ignition was observed up to 170°C, when the test item melted.
Conclusions:
No relative self-ignition temperature of Chinomethionate was observed up to 170°C. The test item was not auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

The purpose of this test was to provide preliminary information on the auto-flammability of Chinomethionate (a solid substance) at elevated temperatures. The temperature difference/time curve of the sample of test item was recorded while the temperature of the oven was increased to the melting point of test item (about to 170°C) at a rate of 0.5°C/min.

Three replicate tests were performed. No relative self-ignition temperature of Chinomethionate was observed up to 170°C.

The test item was not auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.

Description of key information
