explosive properties of explosives
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties
Justification for type of information:
In an expert statement (in study report 513805) it was concluded that the substance has no explosive properties.

In accordance with the screening procedure as described in UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Appendix 6 "Screening procedures for substances which may have explosive properties", the acceptance procedure for Class 1 explosives does not need to be applied.

Description of key information

No explosive properties (based on structural formula).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

non explosive

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Since there are no chemical groups in the molecule of the substance associated with explosive properties, classification for the CLP hazard 'Explosive' is not required according to CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
