Description of key information

Hydrolysis

WAIVING: The test item must be regarded as readily biodegradable in the 10-d-window and after 28 days. The test item complies with the biodegradability criteria as laid down in Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents.

Biodegradation

OECD 301 B

The test item must be regarded as readily biodegradable in the 10-d-window and after 28 days. The test item complies with the biodegradability criteria as laid down in Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents.

OECD 303A (Preliminary Study)

The primary degradation was calculated based on the total influent load, the total effluent load and the test item load adsorbed onto the activated sludge.

Primary biodegradation started as well directly after starting the application of Antimussol ZJ. The mean primary degradation during the plateau phase was 97.8 %

Simulation testing on ultimate degradation in surface water

The study is scientifically not necessary because the substance is readily biodegradable

Sediment simulation testing

The study is scientifically not necessary because the substance is readily biodegradable

Biodegradation in soil

WAIVING: The study does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable

Adsorption/Desorption

The adsorption coefficient log KOC of the test item Antimussol ZJ was determined to be 3.8 for soil and 4.0 for sewage sludge.
