Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Classification related key information

Biodegradability: not readily biodegradable (OECD 301 F, 49% after 28 d)

Bioaccumulation: log Pow <1 (QSAR)

- Aquatic acute toxicity:

Aquatic invertebrates: EC50 (48 h) Daphnia magna > 100 mg/L (nominal, OECD 202)

Algae: ECr50 (72 h) Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata > 100 mg/L (nominal, OECD 201)

- Aquatic chronic toxicity:

Algae: ErC10 (72 h) Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata > 100 mg/L (nominal, OECD 201)

Classification justification according to CLP

Based on the data above, the substance is considered to be not rapidly degradable in the environment. Based on QSAR calculation bioaccumulation is expected to be low. No toxic effects were determined for acute or chronic aquatic toxicity, thus the substance will not be classified according to the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) and all further amendments (ATPs).
