Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC10, LC10 or NOEC for freshwater sediment:
397 mg/kg sediment dw

Additional information

A full set of long-term terrestrial studies were done on the substance. From this set it was shown that the EP approach was conservative by a factor of at least 10 meaning that the there is no reason to apply an additional factor of 10 on the RCR for the higher adsorption potential of the substance. This is considered applicable to sediment organisms too. Therefore the long-term toxicity value for terrestrial macroorganisms (EC10 of 97.8 mg/kg dw) was converted to a long-term toxicity value for sediment organisms leading to a value of 397 mg/kg dw.
