- Statement from testing lab on the feasibility of conducting the adsorption/desoprtion study:
No determination of the adsorption coefficient of the test item was possible using the HPLC screening method detailed in Method C.19 Adsorption Coefficient of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 121 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 22 January 2001 or the batch equilibrium method in accordance with OECD 106. This was since the method was not valid for the chemical class represented by the test item, that of inorganic metal salts (as indicated by the individual test methods and/or ECHA test guidance). On review, no valid alternative adsorption coefficient estimation method could be identified for the intact inorganic metal salt.
