Description of key information

Vapour pressure: 0.52 Pa at 25 deg C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.52 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

All the vapour pressure estimations of tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, by (Q)SPR models, lead to results having the same order of magnitude.

Therefore was reasonable calculate the mean of them, to obtain a summary value suitable for the assessments of the above substance.

VP = (VPM+ VPN+ VPMY+ VPG) / 4 = 0.52 Pa at 25 deg C

As weight of evidence, the low vapour pressure of tetrahydrophthalic anhydride was confirmed by the experimental value of 0.045 Pa at 25 deg C, related to 1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, one of main isomers constituents of the tested UVCB substance.
