Any other information on results incl. tables

Crystallization and melting of the test item were not observed by experiments on the DSC (range = -90 °C to 400 °C). Two subsamples of the test substance were then placed in freezers for 23 hours at -23.0 ± 0.6 °C and at -82.6 °C ± 2.0 °C, respectively. After storage it was visually observed that the test substance was a liquid. Based on this it was concluded that the melting temperature of the test substance is < -80 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
A melting point of < -80 °C was observed for PPVE-2 as determined by EU Method A.1.
Executive summary:

The melting point of PPVE-2 was tested using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Crystallization and melting of the test substance was not observed by DSC. The study was conducted in accordance with EU Method A.1 and was CLP compliant; therefore the study is considered reliable without restrictions.
