Description of key information

EC50 48h Daphnia magna > 100 mg/l loading rate (concentration as loading rate before 96h stirring followed by filtration and this solution was inoculated with Daphnia Magna. The geometric mean between the measured concentrations at t= 0h and at t= 48h was 2.8 mg/l . This value confirms the low solubility of test item in the daphnia medium).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

Tetraphosphorus trisulphide was tested in acute immobilisation test on Daphnia magna. The test was performed according to method OECD TG 202 and the result was EC50 48h Daphnia Magna > 100 mg/l loading (concentration as loading rate before 96h stirring followed by filtration and this solution was inoculated with Daphnia Magna. The geometric mean between the measured concentrations at t= 0h and at t= 48h was 2.8 mg/l . This value confirms the low solubility of test item in the daphnia medium).
