Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Estimated vapour pressure at 25 °C is 1.3*10^-7 Pa.

Based on the OECD TG 104, the calculated values of the vapour pressure can be used:

- to decide which of the experimental methods is appropriate,

- to provide an estimate or limit value in cases where the experimental method cannot be applied due to technical reasons.

The OECD TG 104 considers the modified Watson correlation to estimate the vapour pressure from the experimental boiling point. The experimental boiling point of this substance is 409 °C, which provides the estimated value of 1.3*10^-7 Pa at T= 25 °C. This value of vapour pressure is very low and further investigations regarding the vapour pressure of the substance should not provide additional useful information. The predicted vapour pressure value is considered reasonable enough for the risk assessment of the substance.
