Additional information

The Partition Coefficient of 1-hexyl-1H-pyrazol-4,5-diamine hemisulfate was determined according to the OECD 117 guideline (Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water) using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and following GLP.

The test was conducted with a test material concentration of 4 mg/L in mobile phase consisting of methanol and HPLC water (65:35 v/v) (with potassium phosphate salts). The experiment was performed at two different pH conditions (pH 3 and 7) and at ambient temperature. Samples of the test material were analyzed via HPLC.

Calibration was performed using eight reference materials. Dead time of the HPLC-system was determined three fold using 0.1 mL of thiourea in mobile phase.

The Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water), log Pow, of 1-hexyl-1H-pyrazol-4,5-diamine hemisulfate was 3.045 and 1.287 at pH 3 and 7 respectively. The Pow values of test material at pH 3 and 7 were 1116 and 19.42, respectively.
