Description of key information

The water solubility of trimethyl-1,6-hexanediol (isomer ratio 2,4,4 : 2,2,4 approx. 70:30) was determined with the flask method according to OECD TG 105 (1995) and EU method A.6 (1992). The result was 35.5 g/l at 20 °C. The pH of the solvent water was not affected by the dissolution of the test item.
