The test material was insufficiently defined to allow the use of ThOD as a comparator for ready biodegradability. An experimental COD measure was used instead.

TEST CONDITIONS
- Composition of medium: Mineral nutrient stock solutions added to deionised water and aerated for 20 minutes. Left to stand for 23 hours and 40 minutes. Inoculum then added.
- Test temperature: 19.5 - 21.2°C
