The relative self-ignition temperature of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline EU Method A.16, under GLP conditions.

The test material sample tracked the oven temperature up until approximately 162°C where the sample entered a multi-exothermic event, with the second exotherm rising up at 213°C. The sample did not reach 400°C by self heating. On completion of testing a dark brown solid remained.

Under the conditions of this study, no self-ignition of the test material was observed.
