Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Observations: Test substance changed in appearance during cooling.

The freezing temperature of test substance has been determined to be < -20 ± 0.5 °C (< 253 ± 0.5 K).

Conclusions:
No further testing required (< -20°C).
Executive summary:

The freezing point of the test substance was determined according to OECD 102/EU A1 guideline using BS4633 method for the determination of crystallizing point.

The determination was carried out in duplicate and the mean final temperature was retained.

No steady state was observed during cooling, so the freezing temperature of test substance has been determined to be < -20 ± 0.5°C (< 253 ± 0.5 K).

Description of key information

Freezing point < -20°C.

No further testing required.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized OECD/EC method and under GLP, is available. It is considered as a key study. As no freezing was observed down to -20°C, the result is expressed as a limit value, and cannot be retained as key data.
