Description of key information
Biodegradation:
Biodegradation in water:
Biodegradability of test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS no. 52256-39-0) was estimated by using OECD QSAR tool box v3.4 by considering seven closest read across chemical log Kow as primary descriptor. Percent biodegradation of the test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) was estimated to be 1.14 % by considering BOD as parameter and Microorganism as inoculum in 28 days. On the basis of percent degradability value it can be concluded that test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) is not readily biodegradable.
Bioaccumulation:
Bioaccumulation :aquatic/sediments:
Using BCFBAF Program (v3.00) model of EPI suite (2018) the estimated bio concentration factor (BCF) for Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS No. 52256-39-0) is 1.0 L/kg wet-wt at 25 deg. c which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000. Therefore it is concluded that test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) is non bioaccumulative in food chain.
Transport and distribution:
Adsorption/desorption:
The Soil Adsorption Coefficient i.e. Koc value of test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS No. 52256 -39 -0) was estimated using EPI suite KOCWIN Program (v2.00) as 18540000 L/kg (log Koc= 7.2681) by means of MCI method at 25 deg. C. This log Koc value indicates that test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) has very strong sorption to soil and therefore test chemical has negligible migration potential to ground water.

Biodegradation in water:
Predicted data studies from different sources for target chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS no. 52256-39-0) and experimental study for its structurally similar read across chemical have been conducted and their results are summarized below.
In first predicted data study the biodegradability of test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS no.
Another predicted data study was done by using Estimation Programs Interface Suite (EPI suite, 2018) to estimate the biodegradation potential of the test compound Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS no. 52256 -39 -0) in the presence of mixed populations of environmental microorganisms. The biodegradability of the substance was calculated using seven different models such as Linear Model, Non-Linear Model, Ultimate Biodegradation Timeframe, Primary Biodegradation Timeframe, MITI Linear Model, MITI Non-Linear Model and Anaerobic Model (called Biowin 1-7, respectively) of the BIOWIN v4.10 software. The results indicate that chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) is expected to be not readily biodegradable.
Next study was experimental study done from authoritative database (J check and HSDB, 2017) in this study the read across chemical 2,2'-[(3,3'-dichlorobiphenyl-4,4'-diyl)didiazene-2,1-diyl]bis(3-oxo-N-phenylbutanamide) (CAS no. 6358-85-6) was subjected to biodegradation test by taking activated sludge as inoculums at 30 mg/L concentration. Biodegradation was analysed by using BOD parameter .The initial concentration of read across chemical used was 100 mg/L. The test chemical 2,2'-[(3,3'-dichlorobiphenyl-4,4'-diyl)didiazene-2,1-diyl]bis(3-oxo-N-phenylbutanamide) showed 0 % biodegradability by BOD parameter by using activated sludge as inoculums in 14 days. On the basis of percent biodegradability it is concluded that read across chemical 2,2'-[(3,3'-dichlorobiphenyl-4,4'-diyl)didiazene-2,1-diyl]bis(3-oxo-N-phenylbutanamide)is not readily biodegradable.
On the basis of all the studies mentioned above for target chemical and its structurally similar read across chemical it can be concluded that test chemical Hydrogen [2,4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)azo]-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-onato(2-)][2-[(4,5-dihydro-3-methyl -5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo]benzoato(2-)]chromate(1-) (CAS no. 52256-39-0) is expected to be not readily biodegradable.
