Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was determined in a study conducted according to OECD TG 202 and GLP. In this static test, groups of 20 daphnids were exposed for 48 hours to a nominal test substance concentration of 20 mg/L, a dilution water control and a solvent control. The test concentration was analysed at the start and the end of the test by gas chromatography using a flame ionisation detector. The mean measured concentration of the test substance was 70% of the nominal exposure concentration, and there was a 13% loss in measured concentration over the test period. On the basis of these analyses the mean of the measured test concentration value was used for the calculation of the biological results. No signs of immobilisation were noted throughout the 48-hour test period. Based on these findings, the EC50 was determined at >14 mg/L.
