Description of key information

The BCF is 156 l/kg based on read across from Verdox, which is tested in an OECD TG 305 (Klimisch 1).

The BCF for terrestrial organism is 54.4 l/kg ww using the equation from Jager (1998) referenced in EUSES.

Additional information

Bioaccumulation test on aquatic species is based on read across from Verdox in addition to information on Log Kow and calculated BCF values on Zenolide. This information is deemed sufficient for the classification and labelling, PBT assessment and the chemical safety assessment. The BCF for Zenolide is 156 l/kg based on read across from Verdox. The calculated BCF values of Zenolide for aquatic and terrestrial organisms using QSARs of Veith et al. (1979) and Jager (1998), both incorporated in the EUSES model, yield values of 253 and 54.4 L/kg w.w., respectively.
