Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of the study the pH of the test material was 4.53.
Executive summary:

The pH of the test material was determined in accordance with the TIAG standard operating procedures AANC Determination of the pH value TIAG standard operating procedures AANC Determination of the pH value.

Prior to measurement the pH meter was checked and calibrated with a buffer solution in the expected measurement range. The pH meter was calibrated via a three-point calibration. The slope of the electrode and the result of the control buffer were either listed in the ‘Prüfmittelkontrolblatt’ or ‘calibration report’. The electrode was rinsed with H2O dem., wiped dry and immersed for measurement into the solution. At first, 10 % solutions of the test material were prepared by stirring 10 g of sample material with 90 g of H2O dem. (Milli-Q water Type 1 water grade) for 30 minutes and then adjusting it to a temperature of 20 °C.

Under the conditions of the study the pH of the test material was 4.53.
