Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The physical state of MOVE 3 is borderline between the physical status of liquid and gas (MOVE 3 Boiling point is 19.5 °C ).

However according to the definition of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 it has to be considered a liquid as:

- at 50°C has a vapour pressure of not more than 300 kPa (MOVE 3 Vapour pressure at 50 °C is 276.8 kPa)

- it is not completely gaseous at 20°C and a standard pressure of 101,3kPa (at ambient temperature it is observed to be also in the liquid form)

- has a melting point or initial melting point of 20°C or less at a standard pressure of 101,3kPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment
