Endpoint:
explosive properties of explosives
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING

The following statement has been written by an expert:

A test item is considered explosive when it can react to produce very rapid increases in temperature or pressure.

The test item does not contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties (see Appendix 6 of the UN no. ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.6 guideline). The molecular structures of impurities at ≤ 1% were not taken into account.

In conclusion, MOVE3 has no explosive properties.
Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The substance MOVE3 has no explosive properties.

Description of key information

An experimental study for the determination of explosives properties of the test item in the liquid form is not necessary.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test item does not contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties (see Appendix 6 of the UN no. ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.6 guideline).
