Specific details on test material used for the study:
Boiling point: 19.5°C
Key result
Flash point:
<= -20 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa

The preliminary test was performed 3 times, the first preliminary test starting at room temperature and the second and third preliminary test starting at ‑20°C. A flash point was observed directly at the start of each preliminary test. It is technically not feasible to start with a lower initial temperature as this is not supported by the flash point apparatus.

From this, it was concluded that the test substance has a flash point of ≤-20°C.

Interpretation of results:
Category 1 (extremely flammable liquids) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The flash point of the substance MOVE3 was determined to be ≤-20°C.
Executive summary:

The flash point at 1013 hPa was determined using the modified continuously closed cup in a GLP study according to ASTM D7094. No deviation from the guideline was observed during the study.

The flash-point of the substance was observed directly at the start of each of three preliminary tests (room temperature or -20°C). From this, it was concluded that the substance MOVE3 has a flash point of ≤-20°C.
