Description of key information

The constant H of Henry’s Law can b ecalculated from its vapour pressure and water solubility as follows:

Calculation of H = Henry’s Law Constant

 

H = p x MW/c [kPa m³/mol]

 

p = vapour pressure [kPa]

MW = molecular weight [g/mol]

C = solubility in water [g/m³]

Vapour pressure is 1.1E-11 kPa at 25°C and was taken from section 4.8

Water soubility is 11300 g/m³ at 25°C and was taken from section 4.6

Molecular weight of the substance is 261.28 g/mol

 

The resulting H is 2.5E-13 kPa m³/mol
