Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The Similar substance 03 was tested for its acute toxicity to Lemna Minor, according to the Guideline OECD 221.

The EC50 value was estimated to be >1000 mg/L for the respective exposure period, 7 days.

The median effect concentrations of the Similar substance 03 to Lemna minor with respect to growth rate (ErC50) and yield (EyC50) for the endpoint frond numbers were estimated to be 100 -1000 mg/L and about 100 mg/L active ingredient, respectively.

The no-observed-effect concentrations to Lemna minor with respect to growth rate (NOErC) and yield (NOEyC) for the endpoint frond numbers were 10 mg/L active ingredient, as determined by Dunnett's test.

Based on the read-across principle, the result can be considered for the aquatic plants toxicity assessment of the registered substance.

Justification for read-across is detailed in the report attached to the IUCLID section 13.
