Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Guideline study with acceptable restrictions.
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: test procedure VDI 2263, Part 1 ‘Test Methods for the Determination of the Safety Characteristic of Dusts’
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.16 (Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids)
Deviations:
no
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Grewer testing
GLP compliance:
no
Relative self-ignition temperature:

Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

No exothermic effects were determined up to the point at which 14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one melted. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement.

Conclusions:
The auto flammability of 14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one was determined with the Grewer oven and showed no exothermic effects up to the point which 14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one melted. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement.
14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one does not undergo spontaneous combustion in the sense of EC A.16.
Executive summary:

The auto flammability of 14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one was determined as stipulated in test procedure VDI 2263, Part 1 ‘Test Methods for the Determination of the Safety Characteristic of Dusts’and was carried out under application of EC test procedure A.16 (‘Relative Self-ignition Temperature for Solids’).

No exothermic effects were determined up to the point which 14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one melted. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement.

14H-benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one does not undergo spontaneous combustion in the sense of EC A.16.
