As no specific data for the absorption rate from the oral, the dermal or the inhalational route of exposure is available, default assumptions will be applied. Thus, absorption from the dermal route is considered the same as for the oral route, while for route to route extrapolation to the inhalational route the absroption by inhalation is considered as a factor 2 higher than the oral absorption.  Also, no data is available for the distribution, metabolism and elimination of  ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate (EOEOEA). However, the substance may undergo hydrolysis from unspecific esterase acitivity in the body and ethoxyethoxyethanol and acrylic acid may be generated. The extent and the rate of hydrolysis in the body is however not known.

Based on the structure the substance is not considered as having potential for bioaccumulation.
