Ziram is not highly flammable. It melted to a dark brown liquid which burnt briefly with a pale blue flame for a period of 4 minutes, but did not propagate along the pile.

Justification for classification or non-classification
The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification:
No propagation of burning in a test according to EU Method A.10. Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected. The substance is not self-heating.
