Even though based on log Kow value, the adsorption/desorption study does not need to be conducted, in order to calculate PNECsediment and soil through Equilibrium Partitioning Method, Koc value is required. The two methodologies followed give similar results and indicate that 2-methylpropane-2-thiol is not expected to sorb on soil or sediment particles.
