The purpose of the study was to determine the partition coefficient of 2,2'-Isopropylidenebis(phenyleneoxy) diethanol between n-octanol and water using the HPLC-method (OECD 117 guideline). The partition coefficient was determined based on a calibration curve using reference items for which the Kow value is known and ranged between 0.5 and 6.2. Regarding the test item, different peaks were observed corresponding to different constituents. Based on the peaks identification, the log Kow of the different constituents were comprised between 2.5 and 4. The log Kow of the main constituent was 2.86
