Additional information

In a GLP study according to the OECD guideline 208 the acute toxicity of the test mixture on three plant species (Avena sativa, Brassica napus, Glycine max) was tested. The test species were exposed to the test mixture in artificial soil and over a test period of 21 days. Based on seedling emergence an EC50 (21 d) > 1000 mg/kg soil dw and a NOEC (21 d) = 1000 mg/kg soil dw for all three test species were found. Based on shoot height the most sensitive test species were Avena sativa and Brassica napus. For both plant species an EC50 (21 d) > 1000 mg/kg soil dw and NOEC (21 d) values of 500 mg/kg soil dw were measured. Based on shoot fresh weight the most sensitive plant species was Brassica napus. For this species a NOEC (21 d) of 125 mg/kg soil dw and an EC25 (21 d) of 356 mg/kg soil dw were determined. The EC50 was found to be > 1000 mg/kg soil dw [Evonik Oxeno 2009].
