Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance was biodegraded by 38 % over 28 days. The test substance is classified as not readily but inherently biodegradable according to the OECD criteria.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was investigated according to the OECD guideline 301D: Closed bottle test (1992). The biodegradation of the test substance was followed by exposing it in a mineral medium and incubated for 28 days under aerobic conditions. At the end of the test, after 28 days the test substance was biodegraded by 38 %, therefore the test substance is classified as not readily but inherently biodegradable. The validity criteria were met.
