Graphs of temperature (K) versus time (seconds) for Determinations 1 and 2 are shown in Figures 1 and 2 respectively (attached).

In Determination 1 the temperature of the test material was recorded at a minimum of 283.65 K while the test material was still in the liquid state. The temperature then increased to a plateau of 287.15 K where the test material was observed to freeze. This sequence of events shows that the test material had undergone the process of supercooling.

The test material appears not to have undergone supercooling in Determination 2; however both determinations recorded a plataeu temperature of 287.65 K where the test material was observed to freeze.

Conclusions:
The freezing point of the test material has been determined to be 287.15 ± 0.5 K
