Description of key information

In the only available (and reliable) study, performed according to ISO 8192, the EC10 of the test substance to Pseudomonas putida was determined to be > 10000 mg/l (nominal).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
10 000 mg/L

Additional information

The toxicity to microorganisms of the test study was investigated in a study according to ISO 8192 (Test for Inhibition of Oxygen Consumption by Activated Sludge) under GLP using laboratory grown culture of Pseudomonas putida. Concentration from 10 to 10000 mg test substance/l (nominal) were used. Under static conditions, oxygen consumption was not inhibited over 45 minutes. Therefore, the EC10 of the test substance is considered to be > 10000 mg/l (nominal).
