Description of key information

In the course of the determination of the dissociation constant (study no. 10-00617/1-9) according to test method OECD 112, it was realized that the registered substance can be mixed in water without development of gas. As no gas is developed when the registered substance gets in contact with water, the determination of the Flammability (EEC-directive 92/69/EEC, A.12 (Contact with water)) is not applicable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The flammability is determined according the test method A.12 . "Flammability (contact with water)" as described in Directive 92/69/EEC (Official Journal of the European Communities L383A; see e.g.: http://ecb.jrc.ec.europa.eu/testing-methods/annex5/). The practical procedure is described according to in-hous e test method VTA(S)23N96020.05
