Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X, no carcinogenicity study is required. The substance is not considered genotoxic based on the available studies. Furthermore, no preneoplastic lesions were observed in the available repeated dose toxicity study at quite high dose levels. Therefore, at present, there is no trigger for a carcinogenicity study.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the available data (genotoxicity and repeated dose toxicity studies), classification is not warranted according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC or EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
