Justification for classification or non-classification
The substance has been found not to be explosive when tested by EU test method A14. However, CLP classification criteria cannot be applied to the results obtained by this test method and so classification is based on structural considerations.
Classification based on structural assessment:
There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule when compared to the list of groups given in Appendix 6 of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Test and Criteria.
The substance is therefore not classified for explosivity.
