Executive summary:

There was also no indication that the related substance tri (hexyl, octyl, decyl) ester was toxic in male or female rats after repeated oral exposure (28 d) up to 1000 mg/kg bw/d. In accordance with column 8 of REACh Annex VIII it is enough to examine one route of application, the most important for human beings. This intrinsic property/toxicity potential can be extrapolated to repeated inhalative route administration.
