Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxicity to soil macroorganisms was evaluated with a study conducted according to OECD guideline 222 under consideration of GLP. Eisenia fetida was used as test organisms. The test was conducted with concentrations of 62.5, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg soil dw. After an exposure time of 28d mortality and body weight change of the adult earthworms were observed. No mortality was observed. The NOEC was determined to be >= 1000 mg/kg soil dw and the LOEC > 1000 mg/kg soil dw. The change of body weight revealed a NOEC of 500 mg/kg soil dw and a LOEC of 1000 mg/kg soil dw.

The regulatory relevant effect on reproduction was determined after 56d (reproduction, mean number of juveniles per test vessel). No effects on reproduction could be obserbed. The NOEC was determined to be >= 1000 and the LOEC > 1000 mg/kg soil dw.
