Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. Further the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Self classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on CLP

- There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule and additionaly an experimental determination by DSC on substance showed that the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g.

It can be concluded that the substance is not to be considered having potential explosive properties. Thus it should not be classified as an explosive material.
