Screening evaluation

Analysis of the molecular structure revealed that one azo-group representing a chemical alert structure for explosive properties is present in the molecule.

The oxygen balance was calculated to be -169.63 and therefore higher than the trigger value of -200.

Determination of the exothermic decomposition energy

The curve displayed one exothermic peak between 230 and 320 °C with an overall energy release of 313.23 J/g. As a result, the overall energy release was below a critical trigger level of 500 J/g and the onset of energy release was below 500 °C.
